Sin - Irrational Self Destruction

The ancients have always noted that sin is a perversion of the good. As such, it only exists because of the good. However, in seeking the destruction of the good, it irrationally seeks its own demise.

  5. Is it possible to have a world that is entirely good? If so, would it not also be possible to have a world entirely full of sin?

  6. Ben,

Great question. I think the answers to your questions are yes and no, respectively. The point of the idea above is that sin is self-destructive. Therefore, to say that a world was entirely full of sin, would be to say that there was a world which was entirely self-destructive. But, such a world would cease to exist. The good, however, is the way things are intended to be, and therefore can (and should) have complete existence.
